Global Health Film has come a long way in recent years; we are now a registered charity and are privileged to work closely with a growing number of respected institutions and talented film-makers and health professionals in the UK and overseas.
Our original aims are unchanged: we exist to create and maximize opportunities for excellent storytelling to spark discussion, enhance understanding, and effect positive social change in all areas of global health.
My name is Owen Towns, a summer intern at Global Health Film from Syracuse University. As one of my projects I have been working to create a possible membership scheme for Global Health Film and I have been conducting research over the past few weeks to determine the viability of this plan.
Membership systems are everywhere in today’s world, but I believe that Global Health Film can offer a programme that is meaningful and unique. It would be simple and offer a range of benefits, such as discounted rates and exclusive events, in return for a modest annual fee. A programme like this would add tremendous value to Global Health Film, allowing us to grow while simultaneously providing a better service and experience to our members.
To ensure we are on the right track, we would value your thoughts on whether a Global Health Film membership programme would be attractive to you. Could you spare a couple of minutes to answer a few questions?
If a membership programme looks popular, we will work towards launching a pilot by October; if not, we will think again. Either way, we will be guided by your feedback.
Many thanks in advance for taking our two-minute questionnaire! (deadline 30 June 2021).
